1.07 LEAVES OF ABSENCE WITHOUT PAY
Subd. 1 Regular Leaves
The Chancellor/president may approve leaves of absence without pay and
without employer paid benefits when deemed to be in the best interest
of the college/university or system. No regular leave without pay shall
extend for a period greater than one (1) year. No administrator shall
have more than two (2) consecutive year long leaves without pay without
the consent of the Chancellor. While on unpaid leave, an administrator
shall have the right to continue insurance benefits, to the extent permitted
by law at his/her own expense.
