APPENDIX A - BARGAINING UNIT

1. The Bureau of Mediation Services, Case NO. 83-PR-1219-A recognizes the Association as the exclusive representative for all instructors, counselors and librarians who meet the statutory definition of public employee except those:
   1. who teach one (1) course for up to four (4) credits for one (1) quarter in a year;
   2. who teach only non-credit community service or community education courses;
   3. who are substitutes who work fewer than thirty-one (31) days while replacing an instructor, counselor or librarian already in the bargaining unit;
   4. who provide services for not more than two (2) consecutive quarters to the community college board under the terms of a professional or technical services contract as defined in M.S. 16B.17; and 16B.19;
   5. all presidents, vice presidents, assistants to presidents, provosts, vice-provosts, deans, assistant deans, associate deans, directors and assistant directors and all classified personnel and any other employees excluded by M.S. 179A.01-179A.25.
