Convenience Clinic
State of Minnesota Advantage Health Plan participants and their dependents can receive care at a variety of convenience clinics. These clinics can save employees money and can reduce the time spent away from work for medical appointments. The lower cost of services may also help to keep Advantage Health Plan rates down.
Convenience clinics are staffed by nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are qualified to evaluate, to diagnose and prescribe medications (when clinically appropriate) for simple illnesses, and to provide certain types of vaccinations and screenings. No appointments are necessary.
A chart of the clinics, including their websites and the health plan(s) which cover(s) services received at them, is provided through the link listed below. Additional convenience clinics will be available as contracting is completed.
