Dental Insurance

Minnesota State Colleges and Universities employees may participate in the state's dental insurance plans. Details are provided in your union contract and in the DOER benefits booklet.

If you wish to enroll your eligible dependents in dental insurance, you must do so within 35 days of your hire date. Current employees moving into a benefit-eligible position must enroll dependents within 30 days. Otherwise, you may not enroll your dependents except during an open enrollment period (when the dental option is available) or under certain conditions. These conditions are detailed in your union contract and in the DOER benefits booklet.
