Bargaining Units

            The PELRA defines bargaining units for executive branch agencies.  The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities has employees in twelve (12) of those bargaining units. The exclusive representatives and the bargaining units that they represent are listed below:

  • Minnesota Government Engineers Council (MGEC)

  • Middle Management Association (MMA)

            216 Supervisory Employees Unit

  • Minnesota Nurses Association

205 Health Care Professional Unit

            Accordingly to the 2007 Demographic Report, the IFO represents approximately 3290 employees at the seven state universities.   The MSCF represents approximately 4598 employees at the 25 state two year colleges.   The MSUAASF represents approximately 623 employees at the state universities.   All bargaining units and the composition of each can be viewed in the 2007 Demographics Report.
