Bargaining Units
The PELRA defines bargaining units for executive branch agencies. The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities has employees in twelve (12) of those bargaining units. The exclusive representatives and the bargaining units that they represent are listed below:

Accordingly to the 2008 Demographic Report, the IFO represents approximately 3131 employees at the seven state universities. The MSCF represents approximately 4539 employees at the 25 state two year colleges. The MSUAASF represents approximately 639 employees at the state universities.
