Training for New Employees
As part of your orientation, you are required to take the following system training online:
- Security Awareness
Please check with your Human Resources office to see if they have enrolled you in D2L course on security awareness. If you are unable to locate your Tech ID and PIN with the help screen, contact your Human Resources Office for your Tech ID. Your PIN is preset to your birth date YYMMDD.

- Code of Conduct
- Sexual Harassment Training
Newly hired supervisors and managers should complete “The Art and Science of Supervision,” a five-day course offered through the Office of the Chancellor. Registration for the course is available at: https://secure.mnsu.edu/mnscupd/login (Please note you will need a Tech ID and PIN in order to access the registration site; you can obtain your Tech ID from your Human Resources Office.)
