Required Employment Postings

Summary: Both the Federal Department of Labor and the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry require employers to display posters of interest to employees.  These agencies provide the posters at no cost to the employer.  Posters must be in a location where employees can easily see them.

Forms:  These posters are available to be downloaded or ordered for free from Federal and State agencies.  The websites are listed as well.  Each worksite must post the following.

Federally Mandated Posters:

• FMLA poster Insert for Military Family Leave Amendments (April, 2008)
• “Equal Employment Opportunity” (OFCCP 1420, Revised August 2007)
• “Fair Labor Standards Act” (Minimum Wage – WHD Pub. 1385, Revised July 2007))
• Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, Revised January 2006
