Phased Retirement Program

Summary: The Phased Retirement Program allows eligible unclassified faculty and staff (i.e., IFO, MSUAASF, MSCF, unclassified MAPE/MMA, and MnSCU Administrators) to phase into retirement by working temporarily on a part-time basis, while continuing to qualify for employer insurance coverage as if employed full-time. Additionally, the employee and employer contribute to the employee's pension plan as if the employee is working 100% time.
