Summary: Eligible state of Minnesota employees are entitled to 12 weeks of unpaid leave per fiscal year with proper medical certification for the following: a) the employee’s own serious health condition; b) the serious health condition of the employee’s spouse, parent or child; or c) caring for a newborn or newly placed adopted or foster child.
