Administrators in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities often face multiple challenges as they navigate systems and processes, build organizational capacity, and work with others to meet the goals and objectives of their unit. The Human Resources division in the Office of the Chancellor offers resources designed to develop the skills and competencies needed to be a successful administrator in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system.

self inventory. It is based upon leadership competencies for leaders in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and can help direct your individual professional development plan.
A full range of interactive in person seminars, and e-learning (online courses) are available. In-person seminars carry a nominal registration fee of $50.00 per session to cover the cost of materials and light refreshments. E-learning resources are provided at no charge.
Finance for the Non-Financial Administrator: This online program will give you a core understanding of the financial know-how you need as an administrator. You will learn how to calculate revenue, estimate expenses and read a variety of reports used in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system.
